The Mundane Realm

The Mundane Realm is Earth, around 2018ish time period at the start of the books. It is a magical desert. When Order split the world into two to protect her creations from the monsters that Chaos created, she made the mundane realm as a place where the monsters would have a difficult if not impossible time gathering enough magic to achieve their monsterous forms.
