#MyBrokenBond Official Character List

This is the official character list for the #MyBrokenBond art contest!

Any of these characters can be drawn, either by themselves or together, to be entered into the contest.

This page may have a few book spoilers, as it contains descriptions of the characters from multiple places in the first book. I’ve placed these characters out of order from how they appear in the books so that preference isn’t given to the main character. I’m also not listing out character’s gender or sexuality to avoid spoilers for the world building in the book.

The school jackets are all the same design, but are different colors to signify different classes within the school. I’ll list out some of the outfits written in the book, but specific outfits are not mandatory for the competition, as long as the picture is not NSFW. Please feel free to message me with any questions.

Please see the Official Contest Terms for more information.

Book Description:
The man in front of me was leaning against the wall next to a closed door leading to one of the rooms. Tousled brown hair framed his closed eyes.

The man’s eyes snapped open, ablaze with the same vibrant hues that had flickered on the wings of the bird in the forest. The flames settled, leaving behind a burnished, charcoal black, the corners of his eyes crinkling as he smiled at me with a warmth that radiated from every crevice on his face.

Yvonnel

Book Description:
“Nice uniform.” The lilting comment came from a tall, slender elf who walked up holding her own tray. She was beautiful in an ethereal way, with wide ruby-red eyes and a chin that reached a delicate point. Her silver hair hung down past her elbows and shimmered in the sunlight coming through the overhead glass panels. Her skin looked like someone had painted a picture of dark tourmaline, swirling hints of ruby with a paintbrush over the lustrous, dark surface. She wore the same color uniform as Amabella—a silver, pleated skirt and a green jacket. Her ears sparkled with small, dangling earrings, all tiny spiders with different gems centered in their bodies.

Character 3:

Dominic

Ears: Pointed (elf)
Hair: Lavender with silver frosting
Eyes: Violet eyes with flecks of teal
Skin Color: pale like frost over dried grass
Height: 6’0″
Body: Lean muscle
Sex: Male

1) Violet school jacket, silver trousers
2) Just a towel 😀
3) Jeans
4) Form-fitting, embroidered cloth covered in runes
5) silk pajamas embroidered with storm clouds and lightning
Personality Expressions: haughty, cruel, masking an edge of vulnerability

Book Description:
Tight jeans dipped dangerously low to expose the hard V line of his hips and cut abdominals. I jerked my eyes back up to his face, which was smooth and as handsome as I had last seen it. A gold filigree tattoo shimmered along his collarbones and draped back over his shoulders like a loose choker, so faint I almost didn’t see it. Long violet and silver hair framed a face with the skin of a twenty-year-old who had never seen the sun. The hair shimmered with an unearthly glow that warned of one thing—he was fae. Paired with his pointed ears and dark purple eyes that narrowed into untrusting slits, there was only one type of high fae he could be.

Electricity crackled up his bare arm from his closed fist.

Character 3:

Liam

Book Descriptions:
The clear lines of his ripped body were on full display, along with the muscular curves of his well-toned glutes through his tight-fitting pants. For a moment, I forgot everything else. The man was a masterpiece of physical prowess. He was clearly the kind of guy who could – and would – spend time perfecting himself.
I glanced back over to see him standing in the doorway of his room, now shirtless, the tight curls of his red chest hair trailing all the way down his abs until they disappeared into his bulging jeans

Character 4:

Amabella

Ears: Round (dwarf)
Hair: Curly, reddish brown hair exploded from her head like ivy
Eyes: Brown
Skin Color: Undefined (this happens in my books. Sometimes I just forget about skin color for characters. When that happens, I don’t edit it in and consider that characteristic to be reader defined.)
Height: 4’1″
Body: Professional weightlifter stocky
Sex: Female
Age: Mid 20s
Outfits: Green Jacket, silver pleated skirt
Personality Expressions: Manically excited, blood thirsty, cheerful

Book Description:
“You want this.” A short woman in a forest green uniform reached up to place a small bowl of jello on my tray. Her head was about even with the bottom of my ribcage.

Curly, reddish brown hair exploded from her head like ivy, looking for other places to take root and send off new shoots. Her nose was squished against her face in a cute and button-like way. She had thick, pinchable cheeks that rounded out from her face. Her body was stocky and burly like she had spent her childhood competing in professional weightlifting.

Character 5:

Galeron

Book Description:
The newcomer was tall, with ash blond hair trimmed neat, though I could see a hint of brown near the roots as if he had dyed it. Platemail armor covered his broad shoulders, and a sword and shield hung from a strap on his back. Despite the bulk of his battle gear, he carried himself with such fortitude that I had no doubt he belonged on the cover of a bodybuilder magazine, with or without the accessories.

Character 6:

Fiz

Ears: Rounded
Hair: 2 options – short, scissor slashed or long and brown
Eyes: blue, green, hazel in any combination
Skin Color: Unspecified.
Height: 5’3″
Body: Lightly curvy, moderately active
Sex: Female
Age: 18
Outfits: 3 options
1) Red school jacket, khaki trousers – masculine styled clothing
2) Oversized leather armor that doesn’t fit her – also masculine styled
3) Pajamas – any style
Personality Expressions: Impulsive, determined, traumatized, excited, friendly, confused
Additional Notes: She is small chested and wears tight sports bras in her school uniform

Book Descriptions:

My eyes looked green in the fluorescent light, framed by thick brown eye lashes that matched my hair. The haggard circles under them looked worse with the flickering overhead lighting, but the grief in them was an echo of the more important emotion – determination.

It was easier to see myself in the glass. Long, brown hair fell past my shoulders in untamed waves of density. My eyes never seemed as if they could settle on one color as they hovered on the edges between blue and green. I had my mother’s delicate chin, her slight bump in the bridge of the nose, and her smattering of uncertain freckles that blossomed across my face like wildflowers with the slightest caress of the sun.

I hacked away chunks of my hair, letting it fall to the paper towel blanket below me. I did my best, turning my head this way and that as I cut, but all I had to go on was the scratched-up mirror.

Character 7:

Dravec

Ears: Round (not-human)
Hair: Black
Eyes: Dark brown with flecks of green

1) Violet jacket, silver trousers
2) Black dress shirt, form fitting black dress pants
3) Black leather armor fitted with daggers and short swords and a lockpicking tool kit
Personality Expressions: Sarcastic, sardonic, deadly. Often seen with Caldor.

Book Description:

“There are five of us.” A smooth as velvet voice came from the staircase. My attention yanked over to yet another devastatingly handsome man dressed in all black, including a black dress shirt and form-fitting black dress pants. His black hair was framed with bottomless eyes that lifted up on the edges, eyes that were shaded in a dark brown with little flecks of green. He was so hot he could have been cast as a romantic lead in a K-drama.

Character 8:

Caldor

Ears: Rounded
Hair: Sandy brown absolute floof of hair that fell around his ears in short curls
Eyes: Crystal Blue
Skin Color: Undefined
Height: 6’1″

1) Violet jacket, silver trousers

Book Description:
“Stop harassing [redacted],” a chocolate-coated voice interceded on my behalf. I turned to see a tall man in a long, white robe come through one of the doors at the back of the room. He had beautiful, crystal blue eyes and a sandy brown absolute floof of hair that fell around his ears in short curls like a cupid. He smiled at me, the corners of his eyes crinkling with warmth. He turned to the golden-eyed predator and frowned. “That is not acceptable behavior without established consent.”
